AC Milan vs Hellas Verona: betting odds 15 Feb 2025
Betting tips 15 Feb 2025
AC Milan looked to have gained momentum at the start of February with two wins and a hard-fought draw in the derby against Inter Milan (1:1). However, a defeat away to Feyenoord Rotterdam (0:1) in the Europa League has halted their progress. AC Milan will be eager to bounce back, and their upcoming opponent, Hellas Verona, have been in complete disarray for the past six weeks.
The winter signings have already started making an impact. Against Roma (3:1) and Empoli (2:0), new arrival Santiago Giménez contributed with a goal and an assist. However, he struggled against his former club Feyenoord Rotterdam. Despite that setback, Milan remain strong at San Siro, where they are unbeaten in their last 11 matches (six wins and five draws). They also rank third in Serie A for expected goals (xG) since January, generating 10.71 xG.
The visitors continue to struggle defensively, having already conceded 53 goals this season—the worst in the league. Their attack has been highly inefficient, scoring only two goals from an xG of 7.28 since January. Last weekend’s humiliating loss to Atalanta (0:5) exposed their defensive frailties even further, with all five goals coming within the first 56 minutes. To make matters worse, centre-back Giangiacomo Magnani is suspended after accumulating too many yellow cards.
AC Milan have completely dominated Hellas Verona in recent years, winning eight consecutive meetings since March 2021. With their attacking firepower at home and Verona’s defensive woes, the Milan side should have no issues netting at least three goals in this match.
